窑体内为整体连续空腔，窑体在环形轨道上连续缓慢移动时依次对砖坯完成预热、焙烧、保温和冷却等工序，在此过程中窑体无需停下来，因而也不需要在窑体的前后端及预热、焙烧、保温和冷却段之间设置窑门，简化了结构，提高了生产效率。抽风支管从冷却段抽出热风，由风机经热风总管送到送风支管，由送风支管送进窑体的预热段内，这样可节约能量且**，热风管道布置在窑体外，结构相对简单，更便于装拆维修。
